LN4 Fusion Brings Together World-Class Talent in New Junior Single-Seater Team
Multi-championship programme set for 2027 debut
LN4 Fusion, a new multi-championship junior single-seater racing team co-founded by reigning Formula 1 World Champion Lando Norris, has been crafted from the ground up to compete across the sport’s leading junior categories.
Backed by a Formula 1 World Champion for the first time in modern junior single-seater history, the project brings together an established operation, championship-winning leadership, more than 25 years of Fusion Motorsport heritage and significant long-term investment, with a growing programme spanning multiple levels of the junior single-seater pathway.
LN4 Fusion was developed by a high-profile investment group led by Dan Richards, an experienced executive who oversees LN4 Fusion’s corporate strategy, commercial development and long-term business growth, ensuring the sporting and technical operations have the structure, investment and resources required to compete over the long term. The ultimate goal is to create an independent racing platform with the support, technical capability and management structure required to reach the highest level of junior motorsport.
A veteran of more than 40 championship titles over the last couple of decades, René Rosin joins in the role of Team Principal. With Rosin leading the project’s sporting programme, LN4 Fusion further strengthens its position within the international motorsport landscape. Rosin’s depth of experience, sporting expertise and proven track record were identified as ideally suited to support a project of this ambition and long-term vision.
Dan Hazlewood brings more than 25 years of international motorsport experience, having led Fusion Motorsport to multiple national and international karting titles. As Team Principal of LN4 Fusion’s UK operations, he will lead the team’s British racing activities, beginning with extensive Formula 4 testing ahead of its entry into the British F4 Championship, creating a clear pathway for young talent from karting into single-seater racing.
Guillaume Capietto brings his trailblazing engineering approach and outstanding winning record to the role of Racing Director, overseeing the competition and technical aspects across the full operation.
The process of building a complete development pathway from grassroots motorsport through to the highest levels of the sport is underway with confirmed programmes in the Italian F4 Championship, FIA Formula Regional European Championship and FIA Formula 3 Championship. In the UK, LN4 Fusion is already operating a dedicated British Formula 4 testing programme while working towards securing a future entry into the championship.
As part of the process of establishing the required sporting platform, the group acquired selected assets of AIX Racing, which secured the FIA F3 entry until the end of the 2027 season, and has undertaken the relevant application procedures in relation to future participation in the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
Preparatory work for the 2027 racing programmes has started across the organisation, with the different technical, sporting and corporate workstreams being developed under their respective areas of responsibility.
LN4 Fusion’s principal European headquarters will be based in Veneto, northern Italy, where a new facility is being developed to support the organisation’s international racing programmes. The British operation will be based in Cambridgeshire, where Formula 4 testing is already underway.
Alongside LN4 Fusion, Norris is also launching the LN4 Legacy Programme – an independent, fully funded driver development programme, operated by ADD Management and led by experienced Programme Director Julian Rouse. Designed to identify and support exceptional young talent, the Programme removes financial barriers while providing drivers with access to the same calibre of coaching, mentoring, performance and career support that helped shape Lando’s own career.
