Team looks forward to successful first-ever race outing
Race time cannot come early enough for LN4 Fusion, as the team announces its entry into the final two rounds of Formula Trophy Malaysia to make its highly anticipated racing debut.
Only two months after its introduction to the world, the team will have its first chance to run in a competitive setting, continuing its preparation work and building chemistry and experience ahead of its full-season programme in 2027.
The upcoming rounds at Sepang International Circuit will be a history-making moment for the team, which will compete with a solid three-car lineup and is looking for a positive start to its journey.
Ukrainian Oleksandr Bondarev, the 2026 Formula 4 Middle East champion, will spearhead the effort as he prepares for the FIA F4 World Cup at the Macau Grand Prix. This year, he has won races in both Formula 4 and Formula Regional.
Canadian Lucas Nanji arrives fresh from his rookie USF2000 season and will continue to gain valuable mileage at a world-class venue.
Karting champion Jesse Phillips is the youngest member of the lineup. The British racer won the Ginetta Junior Winter Series in 2025 and, after a positive campaign in the main Ginetta Junior Championship, capped his season with the GB4 Winter Series title.
"This is the first time the team goes racing, and that is not a small thing. It is an important moment and the culmination of the work done so far. A great deal has happened in a short space of time and all of it has been building towards the challenge of competition.
"With so much work ahead to prepare for our 2027 debut, it’s great to have the chance to compete straight away, only a couple of months after our launch.
“By entering the final rounds of Formula Trophy Malaysia, we’ll see how we work and operate together in a competitive setting, and gain experience as a group as we prepare for next season.”
